Strengthening and expanding nuclear medicine services in Ethiopia
This project, also known as 'Expanding and Strengthening Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine Services,' aims to consolidate existing radiotherapy and nuclear medicine facilities at Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital in Addis Ababa and establish new centers in five other regions of Ethiopia. The goal is to improve the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and other diseases. Dr. Medhin was the national coordinator for this project.

Erasmus+ International Mobility Program
Main contact person for the project between University of Pisa and Addis Ababa University (2020-2023).

Micro-credentials in digital health for Ethiopia and Somalia (DigHealth)
This project aims to strengthen the academic capacity of teaching staff on digital health in Ethiopia and Somalia. Dr. Medhin is the contact person for this project.
